Stop talking about love, my God.
Maybe it comes with age,
Maybe it comes with your current state,
Maybe it comes with seeming needs,
Maybe it comes with the fact you’re really now in your last year of uni and the thrill of being loved without abandon is now a real thing and now you can’t shut up about all the theories and philosophies that define what you want and what you think makes a relationship work.
Very specific but goddamn, please stop!
Love is a beautiful thing.
Really.
But should you revolve your life around it, and only it?
Should you revolve most of your conversations about it?
Love is one beauty in life,
There are others,
We can always have interesting conversations about many, many other things,
Talk about sports with a fan,
Talk about geopolitics with a patriot,
Talk about religion with a theist,
Talk about economies with a business lad,
Talk about stats with a data geek.
See how there are other things to make conversations about — deep, heated or surface level?
But how will you find these people when all you do is talk about love?
By all means, live all of your life,
